Pressed on us by a multitude of video screens.
Since the beginning,
was a story that ended
with the birth of our civilization.
Born of a monotheistic desert culture of incessant war,
ridin’ on the back of the civilization of wealth, technology, and order – Rome –
a warrior culture,
a spartan ideal,
unconquerable.
Even by the cosmos?
Time for another story.
